This rising young star needs no introduction as he has already begun to firmly establish
himself across the whole spectrum of the underground scene with his acclaimed skills shining through when both behind the decks or in the studio, with his genre crossing cutting edge beats finding flavour with both underground house & techno lovers alike. With many hours of hard grafting, into the studio to perfect his productions & dj skills. Not only to be noticed as a strong contender in the industry but also on the dance floor. Playing a long side Fergie, Mistress De Funk, Bigger Than Jesus, Shonky, Dan Ghenacia in the likes of Sankeys (voted num1 club 09-10), The Custard Factory, Joshua Brooks, The Bohemia & Ministry Of Sound. Nik is also heavily involved in a monthly event called Smugglersrun, now in its 7th successful year. The event takes place on board a barge that holds 60 clubbers, who set sail & experience this special imitate event, booking the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Shonky, Dan Ghenacia, Tim Sheridan. Smugglersrun have also done joint events with nights such as Tribal Sessions, Micron, Audio Farm & currently in talks with other events around the uk. This is the only party of its kind in Manchester, making it a very exclusive party not only for the clubber but the dj's as well, setting sail into the wrong side of mortality. Nik has released on labels such as Monu Digital alongside the likes of Bigger Than Jesus (Italo Business), Jus Phil (Excentric) & Kris James. MUM Recordings who has the likes of Mark Holmes, OD Muzique, Sarah Story, Mindform, Tempered Djs & Raoul French. Also on Peep Show Music (Mistress De Funk's label), successfully remixing for Dualton (ITH (Defective In The House)) & releasing his first original ep with this label. But Nik doesn't stop here, with more releases on labels such as Intuito Records & 17:44 Records. With 2011 becoming his year having D'For signed to 1605 Music Therapy on their next Various Artists Album, to recording his first Album to go out on MUM Recordings later in the year. Along with various remixes for the likes of Disco Electronica, MUM Recordings plus more. 2011 is the year to watch out for this rising star. With having support from names such as Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, Fergie, Kate Lawler, Hans Bouffmyhre (Sleaze Recs), Luciano Esse (Trapez), Rodriguez Jr. (Mobilee), Iain Taylor (Rejekts) & Mistress De Funk (Tribal Sessions) to name but a few.
